About Last Frontier Gear Heritage-Inspired Outdoor Apparel
Shop NowThe Frontier Story
It started in a Wyoming garage in early 2024 — no launch party, no hype.
Just a guy with worn hands, a sketchpad, and the kind of stories you can only earn under Alaskan dawns.
After twenty-five years guiding hunts through Alaska’s backcountry — chasing elk through alders, sharing coffee over dog-eared maps — I hung up my outfitter boots. Back home in Wyoming, I stared at a closet full of stiff field gear that didn’t fit real life. The stories were still there, but the clothes weren’t.
So I drew a whitetail on a scrap of paper and printed a single tee. That first design, made-to-order and honest as the morning light, became the start of Last Frontier Gear.
“Gear for the off-season — for the coffee runs, the school drop-offs, and the tailgates. For the real rhythm of the lifestyle.”
Why We Exist
The name Last Frontier is a nod to Alaska — the wild edge that built my grit — and to Wyoming, where that frontier spirit still runs free. But more than a place, it’s a mindset.
We’re here to celebrate hunting heritage — the mentors, the early light, the stories that last.
We don’t make field-tested camo or blaze-orange safety gear. We make hunting-inspired lifestyle apparel that carries the camaraderie of camp into everyday life.
Soft tees, cozy hoodies, and giftable designs. Made-to-order to reduce waste. Built to last for seasons, not weeks.
Tradition. Toughness. Trail-Ready.
Built for Everyday Legends
Our gear is for the hunter who still sees dawn light in the off-season — for the one who nods at a stranger at the gas station because they get it.
Every graphic starts with a story: a missed shot, a first harvest, a quiet moment of respect for the wild.
From vintage whitetail icons to bowhunter flags and camp humor, our prints celebrate those who live it — not those who just post it.
We use ring-spun cotton and heavy-blend fleece that feel like they’ve already been broken in.
No gimmicks. No hype. Just everyday comfort and design that lasts.
“Keep it real. Build it to last. Honor the fire.”
Our Community
Last Frontier Gear isn’t about gatekeeping the hunt — it’s about keeping the campfire burning.
From guides who’ve hung it up to newcomers finding their way, our community is built on stories, not status.
We celebrate the harvest and the miss, the mentorship and the memory.
You’ll find us swapping tales, highlighting conservation wins, and sharing customer photos tagged with #LastFrontierGear. Every story adds another ember to the fire.
Looking Ahead
We’re growing slow and steady — expanding our line with women’s cuts, heritage hats, and limited collaborations with artists and guides who share our values.
A portion of every sale supports wildlife habitat projects in Alaska and Wyoming, because the frontier only stays wild if we fight for it.
Someday, you might find us in a small Jackson Hole pop-up, swapping stories over coffee. Until then, this online shop is our campfire — open, honest, and trail-ready.
“Earn every sunrise.”
It’s not just a motto. It’s how we live, how we work, and how we honor the land that made us.
